Choosing The Right Soap

There are various places in the house where hand soap is suitable, but it’s not as easy as simply buying some and placing it there. In the kitchen, a scented soap can cause problems when it is used while cooking, whereas an unscented soap in the bathroom can leave yourself—or more importantly, guests—feeling not quite as freshened up as wanted.

Thus, pick an unscented soap dispenser for the kitchen, and a scented one for bathrooms and toilets.

On the latter, try to avoid bubblegum-scented soap or any soap that has a similar sweet scent to it that invites consumption. Soap should never make you want to put it in your mouth, but some manufacturers haven’t quite gotten that memo.

#1: Put the toilet paper on the holder the right way.
The left method allows for easier, faster and finer control over the precise amount of toilet paper you’re tearing off. It also prevents you from having to grasp for the loose end, like you would often encounter when the roll is placed the wrong way.
It’s a simple task. Take the two extra seconds to put it on the right way. Your roommate(s), spouse or guests will appreciate it.
